Q. Are Kenneth Turner candles hand made?
A. All the candles in glass are hand poured in the UK. In the production of the dinner candles, tapers and pillars, the wax is spun around the wick in automated factories.
Q. What type of wax is used?
A. The wax we use for our poured candles is a blend of mineral and vegetable waxes at an approximate 80/20% split. This blend gives us agood fragrance and colour stability, as well as good burn performance. The mineral was is refined to the highest possible standards of purity.
Wax Declaration
Our mineral wax is not hazardous to your health and our wax does not pose any adverse effects to the environment. We can confirm that the wax used to make our candles does not intentionally contain any of the following substances: Benzene, Toluene, Styrene, Xylene, Formaldehyde.
Q. How are the candles fragranced?
A. Candles in glass, tealights and pillars are poured fragranced wax. Tapers are dipped in fragrance.
Q. How long will the candles last?
A. In normal conditions, minimum burning times are as follows:
Candle in Glass- 50 hours
Tealights- 4 hours
5 Wick Bowl- 100 hours
3 Wick Bowl- 90 hours
Pillar- 110 hours
Tapers- 10 hours
Our Reed Diffusers will last approx. 12-16 weeks in normal conditions.

Q. How natural are Kenneth Turner toiletries?
A. All contain plant extracts, some organic, and specially chosen to enhance the products' performance. In the lotions, aloe is used, with sweet almond and jojoba to moisturise, and organic sage and lemon are used in the gels to aid cleansing. The emphasis with all our products is on soothing and protecting agents.
Q. Are Kenneth Turner products tested on animals?
A. Neither the finished products nor any of the ingredients used are tested on animals.
Q. Are Kenneth Turner products suitable for vegetarians?
A. The products contain no animal derivatives; they are all suitable for vegetarians.
Q. How long do the products last for unopened?
A. The shelf life of all products is 30 months (minimum)
Q. What does the 12M symbol on the packaging mean?
A. This simply means use the product within 12 months of opening.
Q. Is one of the body products more moisturising than the others?
A. All the products have similiar levels of moisturising emollients; there is no one product more moisturising than the rest.
